We are excited to announce the next edition of Plakaton 2024, a unique poster design marathon dedicated to using the power of visual communication to address one of the greatest challenges of our time: climate change. Organised by Admind as part of the international Carbon Footprint Summit, Plakaton invites designers and artists to participate in an intensive session that transforms ideas into impactful action.

What is Plakaton?
The first edition of Plakaton, organized by Admind in 2019, aimed to unite the design community, build a collaborative platform for young creators and renowned mentors, and foster the exchange of ideas in a dynamic atmosphere of creative and professional competition.
This year, Plakaton returns with a new theme: CHANGES. In the face of the escalating climate crisis, this edition focuses on using design as a powerful tool to inspire, provoke, and take meaningful action against climate change.

By taking part in Plakaton 2024, you will have the opportunity to:

You’ll be working alongside 40 talented participants during a 10-hour design session, guided by 5 esteemed mentors and judges.

Your poster design will contribute to the ongoing conversation about climate change. It will be showcased during the Carbon Footprint Summit at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre, and the winning posters will be displayed on outdoor billboards at Kraków’s Planty Park in December 2024.

Event Details
- Applications:
Submit your application by September 29, 2024, via the online form at Plakaton – Maraton Projektowania Plakatu (admindagency.com). Participants will be selected by experts on October 2, 2024.
- Poster design marathon:
October 5, 2024, from 13:30 to 23:00 at Admind’s headquarters, located at Dworska 1, Kraków.
- Opening of the Poster Exhibition:
October 7, 2024, at 17:00 at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre during the Carbon Footprint Summit.
- Awards Ceremony:
October 7, 2024, at 16:00 at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre. The evening will conclude with a gala, where the winner of Plakaton 2024 will be presented with a special award.
Prizes
The Plakaton winner will receive a cash prize of PLN 1000 and the Carbon Footprint Award 2024 trophy during the award ceremony on 7 October 2024 at 16:00 at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre. In addition, thanks to the cooperation with the Carbon Footprint Foundation, the winning posters will be exhibited outdoors in Krakow’s Planty Park in December 2024.
