Admind Branding & Communications is proud to highlight our ongoing partnership with the FilmOn Festival, now in its fourth year. FilmOn, a pioneering Polish film festival, is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to express themselves through film and helping their caregivers use the medium in therapeutic settings. Our collaboration reflects a shared commitment to creativity, education and social responsibility.
Educational Workshops: Bridging Film and Therapy
In addition to our branding and design efforts, Admind has facilitated educational workshops that align with the festival’s mission. These workshops serve as hands-on sessions for teachers and therapists working with people with disabilities, focusing on how film can be used as a therapeutic and expressive tool. We have been able to demonstrate our commitment to educational and artistic development through a series of film workshops tailored to professional teachers. We have enhanced our commitment to the FilmOn Festival and hope to see an increase in both the quantity and quality of films submitted.
Workshop Highlights
The first workshop focused on storytelling, stop-motion animation, and cinematography. Led by experts such as Daniel Stopa and Admind’s talented motion designers: Aleksandra Sznapka, Wojciech Piróg, and Mohammad Dorcheh, these workshops drew on the festival’s legacy and fostered a practical understanding of filmmaking.
The second session, “How to Make a Film,” led by Piotr Stasik at Admind’s Krakow office, was an integral part of our initiative to combine educational enrichment with the cinematic arts. Participants received expert guidance on various aspects of filmmaking, benefiting from Stasik’s extensive experience, supported by the creative ethos of the festival.
Admind’s Contribution to FilmOn
Since our first involvement, Admind has played a crucial role in shaping the film festival visual identity and outreach. For four editions, we have been tasked with a comprehensive project that included:
- Festival Visual Identity Creation: We developed a fresh, mature, and festival-oriented visual theme that resonates with a diverse audience, including schoolchildren and adults.
- Marketing and Promotional Materials: Our team designed and produced a range of materials, such as roll-ups, badges, backpacks, animations, vouchers, diplomas, bracelets, leaflets, invitations, lanyards, statues, festival posters, and social media graphics.
- Website Design and Management : We redesigned the festival website to enhance its accessibility and user experience, ensuring it supports easy navigation for people with visual impairments and other disabilities. Our ongoing maintenance includes regular updates with new articles, photos, and graphics.
We also refined the festival’s slogan to emphasize inclusivity: changing it from “Film festival for disabled people” to “Film festival for people with disabilities.”
Looking Ahead
These initiatives are more than just annual events; they are a reflection of Admind’s commitment to leveraging creative expertise to drive educational and therapeutic progress. We remain committed to our partnership with FilmOn and are constantly looking for ways to innovate and enhance our joint efforts.
